I have been teaching for the past 20 years.  I have been with Midway for the past 18 years.  I have taught 2^nd grade all but 2 of my tenure (those years I was in the library full time, and then taught 4^th grade).  I became the all school librarian in 2016.

Prior to coming to Midway, I taught 2^nd grade, and the following year was a paraprofessional in the Special Needs classroom at Marshall Elementary in Checotah, Okla.

I worked partime as a library clerk at the Jim Lucas Checotah Public Library from 2000-2010.  During this time, my true love of reading developed and I assisted in numerous children and young adult programs.  

I have been married to Daniel Myers since 2011. We have one son, John, who also attends Midway.
