I have been teaching at Midway Public Schools in the Special Education setting for the past 5 years. Currently, I am the Special Education Director/ Special Education Teacher where I teach a self-contained classroom with 2 amazing para’s and we also have a pullout program where students on an IEP can come to work on their goals or get help with assignments. 

Prior to becoming a Special Education Teacher, I worked as a Paraprofessional for 8 years in the Special Education setting at Midway and 2 years in the Special Education setting at Boynton. I was also the 5th-grade Reading teacher at Midway for 3 years.

I have been married to a wonderful man since 2002 and I have 3 amazing kids who all went to Midway Public School. My oldest son is currently attending NEO and will graduate in the spring of this year with a degree in Early Childhood Education. My oldest daughter is currently attending OSU in the prevet program. My baby girl is a Midway Senior this year and is doing concurrent classes at CMN. We also have a sweet Blue Pit Bull named Sassy.
