Teacher/Counselor
Originally from Wyoming, I grew up in Cheyenne. I graduated from Cheyenne East High School in 1989.
I received my Bachelor of Science from The University of Wyoming. My degrees are in Biological Science, Secondary Education, and Exercise Physiology.
I received my Masters's in Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with an emphasis on School Counseling. I am currently working on my Principal certificate.
I am the Dean of Students and School Counselor, and love to help the students determine their steps for the future. I also enjoy helping students learn life skills.
I teach High School Biology, Physical Science, and Forensic Science and monitor concurrent enrollment students.
I have taught at Midway since 2008. I have taught self-contained 5th grade, 5th,6th,7th, and 8th Science, Social Studies, and Reading.
I am starting my 13th year as the cross-country and track coach, and I am also the Midway cheer coach.
I am the Advisor for the National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, and STUCO.
FAMILY
My husband Tom and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in December 2023. We have two children: Hayden, who attends NSU, and Nathan, who is on the rodeo team at Connors State College. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our kids.
